Kids!!!

Would love to ask everyone to pray that they would receive sponsor families soon, they're our last two kids...

These are two boys that the pictures were sent to me by Erin, they are available for sponsorship.

Collection

As of this weekend, we'll have a collection box by our bulletin board (next to Ann's office). We need to collect 80 of each (fewer bras) to ensure that all the kids receive underwear/socks and a hygiene kit (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush).

EBC kids will get involved by assembling the hygiene kits (& adding a personal note) during Kid's Club on Wed 2/3 - so we'll need to have all the hygiene items on hand by Sunday 2/1.

This is also another opportunity for you to send a handwritten letter (with pictures of you and your family) to your sponsor child. (Pattie will be sending an e-mail with additional details).

Our child, Samuel

His name is Samuel. He is twelve years old, he lives in the orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. His favorite subjects in school are English and science. He likes to play basketball, and his life goal is to become a mechanic. My husband, Hank and I have sponsored him.

This is a new blog about the orphanage in Etiopia that Eliot Baptist Church has come behind and sponsored 31 children. I hope that everyone that has sponsored a child will post something about their child. This will be one of the ways that we all be held accounted for.
